Refund & Return Policy
Overview
At Gist Beauty, every bottle is crafted with care and we want you to love what you receive. If for any reason you are not completely satisfied with your purchase, we are here to help.
This Refund & Return Policy outlines the conditions under which returns and refunds are accepted, the process for initiating a return, and how we handle damaged or defective products.
Eligibility for Returns
To be eligible for a return, the following conditions must be met:
- The return request must be raised within 7 days of the delivery date
- The product must be unused, unopened, and in its original sealed packaging
- The product must not have been tampered with, sprayed, or partially consumed
- All original accessories, caps, and packaging materials must be intact and included
- Proof of purchase (order confirmation email or invoice) must be provided
Returns that do not meet the above conditions will not be accepted and will be sent back to the customer at their expense.
Non-Returnable Items
Due to the nature of our products, certain items cannot be returned or refunded under any circumstances.
- Opened or used hair perfume bottles
- Products with broken seals or tampered safety packaging
- Discovery Sets that have been partially or fully used
- Items purchased during clearance sales, flash sales, or with a non-refundable promotional discount
- Gift cards or store credit vouchers
- Products damaged due to misuse, improper storage, or accidents after delivery
How to Initiate a Return
To raise a return request, please follow the steps below. Returns initiated outside of this process may not be accepted.
Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer unless the return is due to a damaged, defective, or incorrectly shipped item (see Section 07).
Refund Process
Once your return is received and inspected, we will notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund by email.
- Approved refunds will be processed to your original payment method within 5โ7 business days
- For UPI and net banking payments, refunds are typically reflected within 3โ5 business days
- For credit/debit card payments, refunds may take up to 7โ10 business days depending on your bank
- Original shipping charges are non-refundable unless the return is due to our error
- If the refund is not received within the stated timeframe, please contact your bank before reaching out to us
We do not offer cash refunds. All refunds are processed to the original payment source only.
Exchanges
We currently do not offer direct product exchanges. If you would like a different fragrance, please initiate a return for the eligible item and place a new order separately.
In cases where a product is received in damaged condition or an incorrect item was shipped, we will offer a replacement at no additional cost (see Section 07).
Damaged or Defective Items
We take great care in packaging every order. However, if your product arrives damaged, defective, or incorrect, please notify us immediately.
- Contact us at info@gistbeauty.com within 48 hours of delivery
- Provide your order number, a description of the issue, and clear photographs of the damaged item and packaging
- We will arrange a free replacement or full refund at our discretion, including any applicable shipping costs
- Damage claims reported after 48 hours of delivery may not be accepted
Cancellations
Orders may be cancelled under the following conditions:
- Cancellations are accepted within 12 hours of placing the order, before it has been dispatched
- To cancel, email us at info@gistbeauty.com with your order number and subject line "Order Cancellation"
- Once an order has been dispatched, it cannot be cancelled โ please initiate a return after delivery
- Refunds for cancelled orders will be processed within 5โ7 business days to the original payment method
We reserve the right to cancel any order at our discretion due to pricing errors, stock unavailability, or suspected fraudulent activity. In such cases, a full refund will be issued immediately.
